The House

A stunning, detached house perfectly located in beautiful countryside overlooking the River Usk, Celtic Manor Resort and set in 20 acres of its own grounds. Luxuriously decorated and furnished it provides spacious, first class accommodation.

The house is set over three floors with far-reaching views with eight charming bedrooms, many boasting en-suite facilities and a fabulous kitchen with an AGA, dining area and doors to the rear patio and garden.

A more formal dining room makes a great place for the whole group to sit together over dinner after a long, but rewarding day of baking followed by relaxation time in the comfortable sitting room, with amazing views. You can also choose to relax in a  cosy snug area of the house with warming cup of tea and freshly baked cake.

If you want to take a break from the bread baking,  the lower ground floor area offers a full-size Riley snooker table, a Wii console with games and a very well-equipped gym with a treadmill, bike, free weights and a flat screen 50" TV and surround sound system.

Outside, the large garden is a great place to spend a sunny afternoon relaxing with a good book or enjoying garden games whilst taking in the stunning views.

The Kitchen

The kitchen is open planned with a more informal seating area and has a total of 6 ovens. We will be setting up extra work stations to ensure that everyone has plenty of space to work in.

Please note that we are not able to accommodate pets and there is no smoking allowed in the property.

As this residential bread baking course is aimed at adults, we regret that we are unable to accommodate children under the age of 18.

To make sure that everyone has a comfortable stay, we would ask you to respect others by turning down the sound volume and the use of the gym after 10 pm.
