Residential Bread Baking Course Terms & Conditions
We advise all applicants to take out travel insurance to cover the costs of cancellation.
Late cancellation will incur a penalty fee as follows: cancellation between 4 and 2 months from the course date will incur 30% of course fee penalty, cancellation within 2 months of the course date will incur 50% of course fee penalty.
If you are unable to attend yourself, we are happy to accept a replacement that you send on your behalf. Please let us know who your replacement is as soon as possible, so that we can make further arrangements and allocate rooms.
Cocoa & Heart reserves the right to make a late cancellation of a scheduled course in exceptional circumstances; postponement to a new date will be announced, or prompt return of all money paid if requested.
How to book
Please use the booking form to make your reservation. We will then send your course confirmation together with an invoice and instructions on how to pay. Your payment will need to be processed within 7 days from your original booking to ensure your booking is confirmed. We will then send you a confirmation of your place on the course, notice of the allocation of rooms, directions and other details.
How to pay
We accept cheques and bank transfers and will send you all relevant information on booking. We are happy to offer payment options - full payment (Gift Vouchers are available), payment in 2 instalments over 2 month period or payment in 3 instalments (payment over 3 month period). You are able to choose which method you wish to use at the time of booking. We don't charge more for spreading your payments over the 2 or 3 month period. Your payment (or first payment) will need to be processed within 7 days of making your original booking.
If you book less then 3 months prior to the course (any time after 15 December 2014) full balance will be due immediately.
The maximum for the course is 8 baking students. We can accommodate a maximum of 3-4 couples or friends sharing, and within the group we are welcoming partners who are non-participants, as well as being aware that a single participant will take a double room. Hence there is a limit to the number of non-bakers that we can accommodate. While the booking form gives couples who are both participants a chance to choose a room, final allocation of accommodation will depend on the mix of couples and singles.
Travel arrangements are solely the students responsibility. We regret we will be unable to pick you up from the train or bus station, but we will provide you with full travel details.
